Our services are adjusted to our clients’ needs including providing planning advice to new concession holders to ensure that the studies and procedures undertaken comply with national legislation and international industry best practices. 

Following the initial environmental planning phase on behalf of our clients, environmental authorities typically require the preparation of an environmental impact assessment in support of an application for an environmental permit to conduct exploration and production.
As well as providing expert planning advice and liaison for our clients with the Statutory Authorities, Five Oceans consultants are experienced with conducting field surveys in the coastal and desert environments of the Gulf Region.
 
Management and Compliance Monitoring and Auditing

In conformity with the conditions of environmental permits as well as the best practice philosophy adopted by oil and gas companies, Five Oceans will provide environmental monitoring and auditing services from project inception to decommissioning.  Where necessary we conduct air and noise monitoring, soil and groundwater monitoring, site audits and investigations.  Our monitoring programmes are often designed consequent to modelling studies and in consultation with the local authorities.

Sustainable Development

Key to Corporate Responsibility is the interaction between oil and gas companies and local, national and regional stakeholders.  Five Oceans has solid regional experience in conducting grassroots, stakeholder consultation as well as liaison and consultation with relevant government authorities and NGOs. Detailed health and social impact studies may be required as components of a more integrated impact assessment.  Such studies, coupled with ongoing stakeholder engagement, assist with managing community expectations.
